In literacy, we have been doing report writing. I have previously done two reports and this is my third. For this one, we could do it on anything but we had to do it with a partner. I did it with my friend Cooper. We think we did a great job and put lots of effort into it.

Delightful Directions

During lockdown in Maths, we were learning about mapping. We had to take a screenshot on Google Maps and make an animation of the directions from one place on the map to the other. I chose to do it from Marshland School to Flax because they are two local places. I also included someone running to it. I made a cartoon of myself on Bitmoji.

Relaxing Rejuvenation

In the afternoons this week we have been learning about rejuvenation. Rejuvenation is where you make a person or place look young or beautiful again. We then had to make a presentation on it. We were allowed to use any type of presentation we wanted. I chose to make a poster on Google Drawings. I think I think I have done a great job.

Amazing Metric Length

In maths, we are learning about metric length is the unit of measurement that includes millimetres, centimetres, metres and more. We had to make a Biteable to explain metric length. Jolly Jimi

In writing, we are doing report writing. Report writing is non-fictional writing. For report writing, I chose to do mine on Jimi Hendrix who is my favourite guitarist. I put lots of time into and found it really interesting. I did not copy and paste and information and placed all the pictures individually on it. I think I did a good job.

Magnificent Minifigure

Hi, today I got all my Lego Minifigures and put them together in a case. I had lots and lots of them and it took a long time to do. My favourite Minifigure that I have is the giant hulk Minifigure in the picture. Some of the mini-figures are from movies or books and some are just random, made us people.  Do you like Lego? Supreme Skittles

Yesterday for school I did a science experiment. Using skittles, a plate and boiled water I made the water turn rainbow. I placed the skittles around the side of the plate and poured the water in. I then waited and soon the water became rainbow. I found this really fun and if you some spare time you should try it too.

As we are currently at home we are doing school from home. In maths, we are learning about enlargements. Today we had to make a screencastify about how to enlarge a shape to scale. I think my explanation is very clear.

Brilliant Bullfrogs

This term we are doing report writing. This week we had to choose an animal and do a report on it. I chose to do mine on American Bullfrogs because I did not know anything about them. I think I have lots of great information, that the pictures are really interesting and that my special effects are really cool.

Marvelous Marvels

As NZ is in lockdown we are doing schoolwork from home. Today I did a Marvel Escape Room online. The escape room was made by Redmond Hill Public Library in New York. In the escape room, you get posed with a hypothetical scenario and you had to use the superpowers of the superhero to do puzzles such as algebra, decoding morse code and much more to save the day.
