Rabid Rounding

At school we are learning how to use Stop Motion Animator. In maths Mrs. Teague told my maths group to make a Stop Motion Animator video on maths. So Scott and I made a video with Stop Motion Animator on rounding numbers.

Have you used Stop Motion Animator?  Can you round numbers? Please comment if you have anything feedback.
I appreciate your feedback.

Wicked Word Art

In Homebase Hauora today we had to make word art. We had to make one on what we are thankful for as we had done Thankfulness with Ferg this morning. Then we could make word art on whatever we want. Here is my word art:

Have you made word art before? Do you have any tips for me?
Please post your feedback.

Exciting Ako's

This week in Sutherland literacy we had to do 3 different ako tasks  Kiwi Kids News, Wonderopilis and Spellodrome. I have made sure that they all meet the success criteria because in the Kiwi Kids News must-do I used a DLO, Made a SIT and identified the 5 w's. In the Wonderopilis must-do, I  used a DLO, used a  SIT  and did the Wonder Word challenge but not the Did You Get It challenge because there was not one on the article I read. And on the Spellodrome must-do, I used my list words, completed an activity and know the definitions of all the words. Here are my ako activities:

Can you get the words on Slide 4? Comment if you think you can. I appreciate your feedback.

Supreme Star Song

In SOL  (Student Organised Learning) we had to make a presentation about Matariki in any form we wanted. I chose to make a song about Matariki. But before we started we had to get our information and answer 3 questions about it. One of the questions was what is Matariki and the other two we chose ourselves, can you find the two questions I asked?. Here it is :

If you have any extra tips or facts about Matariki please comment below. I appreciate your feedback!

Radical Rainforests

In inquiry this term we had to choose an area of nature and narrow it down to one subject. We then had to choose two main questions to do with it and branch some smaller questions of it. I chose rainforests. Here is the link to my google site: https://drive.google.com/open?id=19oX_1bagC2YI0q7TjZ30B-fn1lqzxji4

Amur Leopards

In literacy we had to choose an endangered animal to make an information report about and I chose the Amur Leopard because I had not heard of it before. It meets the success criteria because I checked it against my writing rubric and it covered everything.

My Literacy crossword

In literacy for our must-do, we had to make a crossword out of difficult words from our novel. It meets the success criteria because it is made of 10 words and it all fits together. Zoom in if you find it difficult to read. Try and do it and tell me how you did in the comments:
